Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2) has managed to attract filmgoers not just in India but all across the world. As it entered the ₹1,000 crore club, its overseas gross stands at ₹261.92 crore—a stupendous figure given the fact that it was not allowed a theatrical release in most Gulf nations due to its problematic themes.
Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role, now holds the record for the biggest extended opening weekend for a Bollywood movie worldwide, as well as at the domestic box office.
According to available information, Dhurandhar 2 managed to collect $3.3 million in just six days from theatres across the United Kingdom. This sum is superior to the lifetime earnings of several Indian hits, including Animal, Chennai Express, Padmaavat, Dilwale, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, and PK.
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 has become the fifth highest-grossing Indian film at the North American box office. As per the latest data available, the movie managed $1.3 million on its sixth day alone. The Bollywood blockbuster's gross earnings in North America are estimated at $16.49 million, and it is expected to go past the $20 million mark by its second weekend, reports said. The spy-action movie's prequel had managed $20.65 million on the continent to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film ever there. As things stand, Dhurandhar 2 looks on course to dethrone the first part and claim the pole position.

Bollywood can be proud, as it has reportedly become the third-biggest film franchise in India, behind the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe and the Baahubali franchises. The first instalment of the Dhurandhar franchise earned ₹840.2 crore nett and ₹1,007.85 crore gross.
