Dhurandhar 2 has shattered several box office records in its opening weekend but has now slowed down during the week days. On Day 6, the Ranveer Singh starrer netted Rs 40.14 crore, which is less than what the movie raked in during the previous days.
This is less than what the spy thriller earned for its paid previews ahead of release: Rs 43 crore.
The total net domestic collection of Dhurandhar 2 stood at Rs 559.26 crore as of Day 6. The gross domestic collection was recorded at Rs 667.12 crore, reports Sacnilk.
Overall, the worldwide collection was inching closer to Rs 900 crore after looking at five days of earnings.
On Day 1, Dhurandhar 2 netted Rs 102.55 crore, followed by Rs 80.72 crore on Day 2, Rs 113 crore on Day 3, Rs 114.85 crore on Day 4 and Rs 65 crore on Day 5.
Dhurandhar 2 now holds the record for the biggest extended opening weekend for a Bollywood movie worldwide as well as at the domestic box office.
It also holds the biggest Hindi earner at the Indian box office on Day 1, 2, 3 and 4. It is also the first Hindi movie to net Rs 100 crore in a single day twice and net Rs 75 crore in a single language in back-to-back four days.
The Hindi version minted Rs 37.41 crore on Day 6, while the Telugu edition bagged Rs 2.07 crore and Tamil Rs 66 lakh, according to Sacnilk.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the spy thriller also stars R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
