As it continues to shatter previous box office records, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge entered the Rs 500 crore club in domestic net collection.
On Day 5, the Ranveer Singh starrer collected a net of Rs 65 crore from 20,336 shows. This took the total net domestic collections to Rs 519.12 crore.
The gross domestic collection reached Rs 619.76 crore while the earnings from overseas screens was recorded at Rs 210 crore. The total worldwide collection on Day 5 was estimated at Rs 829.76 crore.
The paid preview shows earned Rs 43 crore ahead of Dhurandhar 2 release. And on the opening day, the spy thriller netted Rs 102.55 crore. Following this, it earned Rs 80.72 crore on Day 2, Rs 113 crore on Day 3 and Rs 114.85 crore on Day 4.
The Hindi shows netted Rs 60 crore on Day 5, followed by Rs 3.5 crore in Telugu and 1.2 crore in Tamil. The Kannada and Malayalam version netted Rs 15 lakh each.
Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the spy thriller also stars R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
Dhurandhar 2 now holds the record for the biggest extended opening weekend for a Bollywood movie worldwide as well as at the domestic box office.
It also holds the biggest Hindi earner at the Indian box office on Day 1, 2, 3 and 4. It is also the first Hindi movie to net Rs 100 crore in a single day twice and net Rs 75 crore in a single language in back-to-back four days.
