Dhurandhar: The Revenge made history on Saturday by scoring the first 100 crore nett in Hindi in a single day. However, the Aditya Dhar masterpiece did not stop there, as it repeated the feat again on Sunday, becoming the first Bollywood movie to do so!
According to available information, it was S. S. Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR which had previously managed a 100+ crore nett single-day figure in the history of the Indian film industry. It was in 2022 that the Telugu period action movie managed to break the three-digit mark in a single day. Thus, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is the first Hindi movie to achieve this feat.
Box office data-tracking website Sacnilk called this unique feat "a scenario that is virtually unheard of in Indian cinema" as it is an "extremely rare feat for a film to collect 100 crore or more in a single day on two separate occasions."

The consecutive 100 crore nett collections helped Dhurandhar 2 to get past the ₹400 crore mark in style—perhaps a bit faster than many anticipated. At this rate, the Ranveer Singh action extravaganza can manage ₹50 crore on a weekday before getting past the ₹1,000 crore mark in its opening week itself, Sacnilk claimed.
Earlier, Dhurandhar 2 had crossed the mark of ₹300 crore at the domestic box office within three days of its release. The film had delivered a record-breaking opening, earning ₹43 crore from paid previews on Wednesday and ₹102.55 crore on its first day.
Also starring R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi, the film was released on Thursday and is a sequel to Dhar's 2025 release, Dhurandhar. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the film was released in the Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
