Popular Marathi Instagram reel star Arun Tupe reportedly passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning.
He was found dead at his residence in Balaji Nagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The news has come as a shock to his fans and followers.
The young content creator was well known for his comedy sketch reels, which commented on social issues.
Some of the videos on his account “kon-aruntupe” have garnered millions of views likes. He had about 179k followers on Instagram.
His last reel was posted just 22 hours before his death was announced. He had also replied to several comments on his post hours before his death, which made his death even more shocking to his followers.
Preliminary investigation showed that Tupe suffered from a heart attack. His relatives also said that he also suffered from epilepsy. However, the exact cause of his death is not clear.
He was found unconscious inside his house and the rushed to the hospital on Tuesday morning, where he was declared dead. His body has been sent to the government hospital in Ghati for an autopsy.
Maratha reservation leader Vinod Patil has also expressed his condolences by posting on social media.
