How many people watched Turning Point USA's and Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime shows?

While millions watched Bad Bunny light up the 2026 Super Bowl 60 halftime show, conservatives in America tuned into their own counterprogram, organised by Turning Point USA.

Bad Bunny’s halftime show was subject to criticism from far-right groups, with one of the complaints being that it was almost entirely in Spanish. Trump complained, “Nobody understands a word this guy is saying.”

Turning Point USA’s “All American”  show was headlined by Kid Rock, and it was streamed on the right-wing organisation’s social media platforms.

Many of the performances in the show had tributes its founder, Charlie Kirk.

The show, however, did not start until the Super Bowl performance was over. About a few million fans tuned in before the TPUSA show started.

About 5 million viewers tuned into TPUSA's YouTube page during the show’s midpoint before Kid Rock appeared. At its peak, the show garnered about 5.7 million views.

Performers included Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.

Most of the performances, which were deemed ‘half-hearted’ by major magazines like Variety, were by pop-country singers. The entire show lasted about 25 minutes and was filled with religious sentiment and singers declaring that the show was ‘real American’.

Bad Bunny’s show, meanwhile, was love-letter towards Puerto Rico, and he delivered both hits and a political message. The numbers for the Super Bowl are massive, with shows getting about 100 million viewers every year. Bad Bunny’s performance is likely to bring in massive viewership, also due to his global reach. He has about 90.5 million Spotify listeners compared to Kid Rock's 5.3 million. The super bowl number are easily set to blow, turning Point USA show numbers out of the water.

The official numbers for Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 60 halftime show will be revealed on Monday.

The performances also had special appearances from Lady Gaga, Cardi B, Ricky Martin and Los Sobrinos, a Puerto Rican salsa band.

Actors like Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba, who are Chilean American and of Mexican descent, were also seen at the show.

The show also garnered attention when a real couple got married about five minutes into the total 13-minute set at Levi Stadium.

The performance ended with the final words “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”
