'Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu' box office collection day 13: Chiranjeevi starrer becomes the no.1 Telugu film of all time

It was a blockbuster Sankranthi for Chiranjeevi as his family entertainer Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu emerged as a runaway winner at the box office. Director Anil Ravipudi maintained his flawless box office track record and enviable Sankranthi streak, while Chiranjeevi managed a superb comeback to his name.

On its 13th day, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is showing a jump in collections from Day 12, which is expected due to the weekend factor. However, with the Sankranthi festivities done already, it is now the film's merit that is dictating its box office clout and the film is on track to gross Rs 4-5 crore in India.

The collections could also arguably go a bit higher, depending on how the evening and night shows fare, especially in the Telugu states. The 13-day collections for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu will stand at Rs 220 crore gross in India with the overseas figures currently at Rs 43 crore.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has a worldwide gross of approximately Rs 260 crore after 13 days and it has comfortably become the highest grossing Telugu film of all time if we exclude releases with dubbed versions. Remember, most major biggies have dubbed versions these days but Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has only released in Telugu.

Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (Rs 251 crore) held the record for the biggest worldwide grosser for a Telugu version film and that has comfortably been crossed by Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. The Chiranjeevi starrer might, however, not breach the Rs 300 crore mark globally and even the Rs 275 crore mark is unlikely to be touched.
