It's bad news for Prabhas and The Raja Saab as the film has completely crashed on its weekdays. If not for the Sankranthi factor, the film would have ended its theatrical run this week itself. The Hindi version may achieve that unwanted target as it has gone down to under Rs 1 crore nett on Monday and Tuesday has shown a bigger fall.
The Hindi lifetime collections for The Raja Saab will be less than Rs 20 crore nett, which is shocking as this is the kind of figure that you would expect on the first day of a Prabhas starrer in Hindi. However, he has struggled immensely in non-action genres to pull crowds outside the Telugu states and The Raja Saab has followed the same pattern.
The Raja Saab barely collected Rs 7.5 crore gross in India on its fourth day and the fifth day is set to just about touch the Rs 5 crore mark in India. The four-day worldwide gross for The Raja Saab will be around Rs 151-152 crore and with Sankranthi holidays from January 14, there will be some respite for the film as the Rs 200 crore mark will be crossed globally.

However, that is not a benchmark or milestone at all, certainly not for a superstar film reportedly made on a budget of Rs 300-400 crore. With the OTT and satellite revenues going down, big-budget films need to get a major share of their recovery from their theatrical run itself.
The producers of The Raja Saab are likely to earn around Rs 100-110 crore as their share from the film's theatrical run, which would mean a bare minimum loss of Rs 200 crore and beyond. The Raja Saab is set to be one of the biggest disasters in Indian cinema in recent years. It will be Prabhas' second-biggest disaster after Radhe Shyam in 2022.
