Two years after its successful premiere, Apple TV's Drops of God is set to return with a second season. The French-Japanese series, created by Quoc Dang Tran, will begin streaming its new chapter on January 21, 2026. Season 2 will comprise eight episodes. Its two leads — Fleur Geffrier as Camille Léger and Tomohisa Yamashita as Issei Tomine — are reprising their original roles too.

According to the official logline, "Camille and Issei are thrust into their most perilous challenge yet: to uncover the origin of the world’s greatest wine, a mystery so profound that even their legendary father, Alexandre Léger, could not solve it. What begins as a pursuit of legacy becomes a search for truth that spans continents and centuries, unearthing forgotten histories, hidden rivalries, and secrets buried for generations. As the search pushes them to the edges of the world and to the darkest corners of themselves, Camille and Issei must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice. The answer could shatter their bond as siblings … or destroy them both."

Directed by Oded Ruskin, the International Emmy Award-winning show is based on the manga series of the same name by Tadashi Agi, and illustrated by Shu Okimoto. The plot revolves around the two characters' competition to acquire a vast estate along with its wine collection left by a celebrated oenologist after his demise, a conflict complicated by childhood trauma and chaotic family dynamics.
