'Dhurandhar' box office collection day 29: Ranveer Singh starrer continues to be unstoppable

Dhurandhar experienced a superb start to 2026 with New Year's Day clocking Rs 14.50 crore nett in India. It was a superb jump in collections from December 31, boosted no doubt by the New Year effect and the film entered the coveted Rs 700 crore nett club, thereby becoming the first Bollywood film to achieve this landmark.

On Day 29, Dhurandhar is once again showing an exceptional hold at the box office and could touch double digits yet again if the evening and night shows have a big spike. Morning shows have indicated a 10 percent drop from Wednesday but the noon shows have similar occupancy levels.

As it is a Friday, evening and night shows should do well, although Wednesday also had great evening and night shows due to New Year's Eve effect. Early estimates indicate a figure of around Rs 8-10 crore nett for Dhurandhar on its 29th day in India. With this kind of a start to the weekend, we can expect the film to be near the Hindi nett figures of Pushpa 2 by the end of the weekend.

There is also an outside chance of Dhurandhar crossing Pushpa 2's figures in this weekend but even if it doesn't, that milestone will happen on Monday, making it a historic moment for Bollywood. This week's new release Ikkis has barely affected Dhurandhar and it isn't surprising, given the domination it has shown over the last few weeks.

Dhurandhar has touched $30 million overseas and these are incredible numbers when you consider that the film didn't release in Gulf countries that form a huge chunk of Bollywood's overseas numbers. The worldwide gross is well over Rs 1100 crore and it should cross Rs 1200 as per current trends.
