'Bha Bha Ba' box office collection day 10: Crash continues for Dileep starrer as Saturday shows further decline

Dileep's latest release 'Bha Bha Ba' showed a big drop on Friday and is set to record further decline on its second Saturday at the Kerala box office

'Bha Bha Ba' is showing further drop on its tenth day at the Kerala box office

The end seems to be near for Bha Bha Ba at the Kerala box office. While Christmas Day proved to be temporary relief with collections showing a jump of 30 percent from Wednesday, it all came down crashing for the film on its second Friday. The ninth day collections showed a 50 percent drop in collections from the eighth day, thereby indicating ominous signs for the film.

On its tenth day, Bha Bha Ba is showing further drop in collections. While this is shocking, the trend isn't unexpected, given that the cracks were visible from the first weekend itself. The opening day was strong at Rs 7.20 crore in Kerala but there were indications of mixed word-of-mouth even on the release day.

Bha Bha Ba on its second Saturday is likely to show a drop of 5-10 percent from second Friday's figures. On Day 9, the film had a tracked gross of Rs 51 lakh till 9 pm, while second Saturday is showing a tracked gross of only Rs 32 lakh although these are numbers till 7 pm. The Saturday effect could push the film a bit over the next few hours but it won't be of much significance.

The film will touch the Rs 25 crore mark in Kerala but this is no longer a benchmark for a major film in modern box office dynamics. However, considering that Dileep's previous release only collected Rs 24 crore globally, this is a big upgrade, although he has to thank Mohanlal for a major chunk of Bha Bha Ba's collections.

Bha Bha Ba managed such a big start purely due to the presence of Mohanlal in an extended cameo. It may still have been Dileep's biggest opener, considering that his previous highest opening day was Rs 2.10 crore. Mohanlal's incredible box office form in 2025 meant that Bha Bha Ba got a huge first day but the poor word-of-mouth meant that even the veteran's presence couldn't save the film.

Bha Bha Ba is unlikely to touch the Rs 50 crore mark and for a film of this scale, it is certain to incur losses. A FLOP tag is now inevitable for the film.
