'Bha Bha Ba' box office collection day 9: Dileep starrer falls further after Christmas Day

According to the latest trends, Dileep's Bha Bha Ba is experiencing a big fall on its second Friday at the Kerala box office

'Bha Bha Ba' is showing a big drop from Christmas Day on its ninth day | X

Bha Bha Ba continues to be extremely underwhelming at the Kerala box office. If not for the vacation season, it may well have been an outright disaster by now. Christmas Day saw a minor jump in collections as the film grossed Rs 1.40 crore but these are still low numbers for a film that is only in its eighth day.

Monday, the fourth day of the film, saw a heavy crash as the film just about managed to go past the Rs 1 crore mark in Kerala. Tuesday saw a further drop of 15 percent while Wednesday managed to level up to Tuesday only because of Christmas eve. The Monday-Wednesday collections came to the tune of around Rs 3.25 crore approximately.

On its ninth day, Bha Bha Ba is experiencing another big drop, like it did on its first Friday and first Monday. The film has fallen by more than 40 percent from Christmas Day and the upcoming weekend also might not see much of a rise in collections. If anything, it would only show a flat trend.

Bha Bha Ba is set to collect around Rs 60-70 lakh on its ninth day at the Kerala Box office, taking its total gross to around Rs 23-24 crore in the state. The worldwide collections are around Rs 45 crore and with the big costs involved, the film is unlikely to be a profitable venture for distributors and theatre owners. In fact, big losses are on the cards with these trends.

The excellent reports for Nivin Pauly's Sarvam Maya comes as a final nail on the coffin for Bha Bha Ba, given that the audience now has options to watch in this vacation season. If not for Mohanlal's cameo that ensured such a great start to the film, Dileep's latest release would possibly have tanked on the opening day itself.

The tracked gross of Bha Bha Ba till 9 pm is only Rs 51 lakh - for reference Christmas Day tracked gross came to Rs 1.02 crore - and with just three hours remaining, a big drop is guaranteed for the film.
