Raj Nidimoru—one half of the filmmaking duo Raj and DK, who are famed for shows like 'The Family Man' and 'Guns and Gulaabs'—was recently spotted in a photo with actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, sparking rumours that the two had finally 'soft-launched' their relationship.
However, neither side has made it official yet.
"Today, I’m celebrating the small wins," she wrote in an Instagram post, which included a set of photos from a Secret Alchemist event that Raj also attended. Secret Alchemist is a perfumery and personal care brand co-founded by Samantha.
"I’m so grateful to be working with some of the brightest, hardest-working, and most authentic people I’ve met. With a lot of faith, I know this is just the beginning," she added.
The two have collaborated earlier on projects like 'Citadel: Honey Bunny', as well as season two of 'The Family Man'—which saw her play rebel leader Raji, one of that season's main antagonists.
The photo, which sees two comfortably embracing each other—with Raj's arm around her waist—also sparked questions about the impact of such photos on his ex-wife, Shyamali De, who often reacts with cryptic Instagram Stories and posts about it.
The two have long been a part of each other's lives, with the rumours of a possible relationship between them going as far back as 2023.
