Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga are headlining the 2026 Grammy Awards nominations list, the Recording Academy's latest announcement said.
According to the Academy, music's biggest night is set to take place on February 1, 2026 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will be broadcast live on the CBS Television Network and streamed live on Paramount+.
Compton-based Kendrick Lamar rules the roost for the second time with nine nominations, with Lady Gaga at a close second at seven nods.
This edition of the Grammys will also feature two exciting new categories of awards—Best Album Cover and Best Traditional Country Album.
"These additions further the Recording Academy’s commitment to recognising a broader spectrum of artistic craft and honouring the evolving ways music is created and experienced," the Academy said in a statement.
