With Jeethu Joseph movie Mirage getting underwhelming response from viewers and critics, Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra is likely to keep most of its screens in the coming week. On Day 1, 'Mirage', which stars Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali in lead roles, raked in just Rs 76 lakh in net domestic collection, according to Sacnilk. Read Mirage review HERE.
The female superhero film starring Kalyani Priyadarshan has collected Rs 262.5 crore in worldwide earnings so far. This includes India gross collection of Rs 150.7 crore and overseas collection of Rs 111.8 crore.
Produced by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films at a budget of around Rs 30 crore, the net domestic collection of the film stood at Rs 128.8 crore. This includes 99.35 crore in Malayalam, Rs 12.65 crore in Tamil, Rs 13.45 crore in Telugu and Rs 3.35 crore in Hindi.
In gross box office collection, the Dominic Arun directorial minted Rs 94.74 crore in Kerala alone while Rest of India screens raked in Rs 51.71 crore.
