Director Tharun Moorthy's Mohanlal starrer Thudarum has ended its box office run by conquering new heights as it bagged Rs 233.61 crore worldwide, only behind Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra and Empuraan. With Empuraan and Thudarum, Mohanlal set a record with two Rs 100 crore club movies in a single year.
The all-time blockbuster raked in Rs 118.9 crore in Kerala alone while it bagged Rs 19.56 in Rest of India screens. It collected Rs 7.81 crore in Karnataka, followed by Rs 5.4 crore in Tamil Nadu, Rs 4.05 crore in north India and Rs 2.3 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The overseas box office collection of Thudarum was recorded at $11.06 million, which translated to Rs 95.15 crore. The Mohanlal starrer minted $6.95 million in the Middle East, $1.59 million in North America, $1.24 million in UK and Ireland, $525,000 in Australia and $95,000 in New Zealand. In the Rest of the World screens, it collected $650,000.
Besides Mohanlal, the movie also stars Shobana, Prakash Varma, Binu Pappu, Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, Irshad Ali, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Thomas Mathew and Amrithavarshini.
Directed by Tharun Moorthy, 'Thudarum' revolves around Shanmugham, played by Mohanlal. The family drama explores the everyday struggles of the taxi driver based in Perunad, Ranni. Music and background score are composed by Jakes Bejoy. Kanmanipoove and Kadha Thudarum were among the most popular songs of 2025.
