Pre-wedding festivities are on at the Taj Aravali Resort & Spa in Udaipur, for Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare's wedding. The mehendi function took place on January 8. The couple had a registered wedding in Mumbai on January 3 and headed to Udaipur for a more traditional ceremony.
For the registered wedding, Shikhare jogged to Ira Khan's home. He said the route holds a special place in his heart, as he would jog to Ira's house every morning.
At the mehendi function, Aamir Khan was seen wearing a sky-blue Indo-western outfit. He had the mehendi artist recreate Ira's tattoo design on his palm. Ira has a tattoo of a star, moon and sun on her right arm. The actor flaunting the same design as his daughter is a reflection of a beautiful father-daughter bond.
At her mehendi ceremony, she was seen wearing a white chikankari gown and pink sunglasses. Following the mehendi ceremony was hi-tea and dinner, which ended with a pyjama party.
