The trailer for Ranbir Kapoor's movie Animal has been certified with an A rating. It has been described as raw and emotional. The trailer is expected to be released at 1.30 pm today. The movie is set to release on December 1.
Besides Kapoor, the movie also stars Rahsmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol, where Deol plays a negative role. The movie is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who helmed movies like Kabir Singh and Mahanati.
After the release of the teaser, 'Hua main', was the first track from the movie to release. The track was trending as the lead pair shared a passionate kiss in it. Ranbir sports a rugged look in the film with a beard and long unruly hair.
The teaser hints at another drama around a toxic relationship, this time between a father and son. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir's father in the movie. Reportedly, Bobby Deol, whose acting career has got a boost with the OTT series Ashram, has no dialogues in the film. The character is a mute villain, who will create terror without uttering a word.
In an earlier interview, Deol said about his character, “Something different and really excited to see that I look different and you wanna know what I am doing in that shot (teaser) but as I said I can’t tell you. I am definitely eating something in it. Chewing something.” The movie's run time is 3 hours, 21 minutes. It is longer than RRR, which had a runtime of 3 hours, and two minutes. Another movie with a long runtime in recent times is Baahubali 2, at 3 hours, 17 minutes.
