Netflix just announced the second season of Lust Stories, an anthology that explores relationships and sexuality, from the point of view of women. For the second season, the streaming giant has brought together some much-loved actors including Neena Gupta, Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajol, Vijay Varma, Angad Bedi, Kajol, Mrunal Thakur and Tilottama Shome among others. Lust Stories 2 will be helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh.
The first edition of the Emmy-nominated anthology had grabbed eyeballs with its open discussion of sex and pleasure, with its female protagonists taking the lead. Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, Director, Original Films, Netflix India, said in a statement that the second anthology has “even more bold, diverse and progressive stories from different parts of India.”

In the teaser released on Tuesday morning, we see an aged Neena Gupta quip about 'test drives' before marriage, just like how cars are taken out for a test drive before purchase.
“We are proud to bring to our audiences the second edition of our Emmy Nominated anthology, Lust Stories 2. We have seen all our films that we have done with Netflix like Mission Majnu, Lust Stories, Paava Kadhaigal, Raat Akeli Hai and Dhamaka, being recognised and loved by a global audience, making it the ideal platform for Lust Stories 2,” producer Ronnie Screwala said in a statement.
Fans are already excited to see their favourite stars in a new avatar in the show. The teaser has already sparked discussions about Tamannah and Vijay Varma's on-screen chemistry in the teaser.
