Acclaimed Hollywood actor Robert De Niro revealed that he "just had a baby." The 79-year-old actor announced the news during the promotion of his upcoming film About My Father.
When the actor was asked what his love language is during an interaction with ET Canada, he said he believes "in being loving with [his] kids,” although he has “to be stern about stuff” sometimes.
“I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, [sometimes] you just have no choice,” he was quoted as saying to Brittnee Blair of ET Canada.
"...any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t,” the actor said.
When the host said she knows he has six children, De Nero corrected her, saying he has seven children. "I just had a baby.”
The representatives of the actor confirmed the news.
It is unclear who the mother is.
