Netflix is back with a political drama, starring Kerri Russell and Rufus Sewell. Debora Cahn, writer of The West Wing, is the creator and showrunner of this new eight-episode series. “Amid an international crisis, a career diplomat juggles her new high-profile job as ambassador to the UK and her turbulent marriage to a political star,” reads the streamer's logline.
Tooth Pari: When Love Bites – Netflix
Release date: April 20
Billed as a romantic fantasy thriller series, Tooth Pari stars Tanya Maniktala of A Suitable Boy fame and Shantanu Maheshwari, who made his Bollywood debut with Gangubai Kathiawadi. Maniktala plays Rumi, a beautiful vampire, and Maheshwari essays the role of Roy, a dentist. The upcoming series created and directed by Pratim Dasgupta also stars Sikander Kher, Adil Hussain, Revathy, Saswata Chatterjee and Tillotama Shome.
Garmi: SonyLIV
Release date: April 21
Created and directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the drama takes a plunge into the world of student politics. The series follows a young man who leaves his hometown and moves to a city to complete his education, but he is dragged into the complexities of politics. Garmi features an ensemble star cast such as Mukesh Tiwari, Vineet Kumar, Pankaj Saraswat in pivotal roles.
Dead Ringers: Amazon Prime Video

A reboot of David Cronenberg’s 1988 psychological thriller, the miniseries ells the tale of twin gynecologists Elliot and Beverly Mantle who want to challenge age-old medical practices related to women's health. The series stars Rachel Weisz and Michael Chernus in prominent roles.
Indian Matchmaking season 3: Netflix

The reality television series follows matchmaker Sima Taparia who helps single youngsters around the globe find their perfect match. Created and written by Smriti Mundhra, the show offers a peak into the world of arranged marriages and how Taparia guides families through this tradition in a modern era.
Pakalum Pathiravum: ZEE5
Release date: April 21
The Malayalam thriller which was released in theatres earlier features Kunchacko Boban, Rajisha Vijayan and Guru Somasundaram in prominent roles. Directed by Ajai Vasudev, the film is a remake of Dayal Padmanabhan’s Kannada film Aa Karaala Ratri, which in turn was based on a play.
