Indian Matchmaking season 2: Netflix

Popular Mumbai-based matchmaker Sima Taparia is back with season 2 of the show where she helps young people find their soulmates. She travels extensively around the world and guides clients in India as well as the US get married by researching their preferences and even horoscopes. The first season was loved by many, but also triggered controversy for allegedly promoting age-old regressive practices.
Locke and Key Season 3: Netflix
Release date: August 10
Netflix's adaptation of the comic series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez, the show tells the story of the Locke family. After their dad's murder, three siblings move with their mom to his sprawling ancestral home, where they discover magical keys that unlock powers — and secrets. The third and final season picks up from where the second season ended—by introducing a new villain named Frederick Gideon, a British soldier from the past.
Malayankunju: Amazon Prime Video
Release date: August 11
Actor Fahadh Faasil’s survival drama Malayankunju which released in theatres recently is set to make its OTT debut. The Malayalam film written by Mahesh Narayanan and directed by Sajimon Prabhakar follows the struggle of a man who gets trapped in a landslide. The film received great reviews from the audience and critics.
A Model Family: Netflix
Release date: August 12
The Korean crime thriller follows a cash-strapped professor who steals money from a cartel, triggering a chain of drastic events. He becomes the target of a notorious drug syndicate who force him to work as a drug carrier, plunging his family into further crisis. The film features Jung Woo and Park Hee-soon among others.
A League of Their Own: Amazon Prime Video
Release date: August 12
The upcoming American period sports comedy-drama series revolves around WWII All-American professional women’s baseball league. It is an adaptation of the 1992 film of the same name.
Om The Battle Within: ZEE5
Release date: August 11
The Aditya Roy Kapur-starrer action drama released in theatres in July. Kapur plays a commando who is called for a top-secret mission. The film also features Sanjana Sanghi.
