'Grow up': Samantha on reports linking her to Naga Chaithanya-Sobhita Dhulipala rumours

Amid rumours of actor Naga Chaithanya dating actress Sobhita Dhulipala, Chaithanya's ex-wife Samantha Ruth Prabhu reacted to reports linking her to it. Samantha took to social media to share a report that about the actor's fans being irked with Samantha for allegedly spreading the rumour.

Samantha urged people to move on and concentrate on their work and their families. She wrote on Twitter, “Rumours on girl – Must be true !! Rumours on boy – Planted by girl !! Grow up guys ..Parties involved have clearly moved on .. you should move on too !! Concentrate on your work … on your families .. move on!!”

Samantha and Chaithanya announced their separation in October 2021. Samantha and Chaitanya shared identical notes on their social media announcing the split. “To all our well wishers. After much deliberation and thought Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thank you for your support,” her statement read.

Samantha and Chaitanya tied the knot in 2017. Rumours of a divorce had started doing the rounds after Samantha changed her name on social media platforms.
