Malaika Arora recalls her accident, says she still get 'flashes' that send shivers down her spine

Actor-model Malaika Arora, who met with an accident near Khopoli on Mumbai-Pune Expressway on April 2, revealed that although she is recovering, she still gets shivers when she comes across depiction of accidents in movies.

“Physically, I am recovering, but mentally, I feel that it doesn’t go away completely," Mid-Day quoted her as saying.

She said when she watches movies that depict accidents or show blood, she gets " flashes that send shivers down my spine."

She hoped that she would move past it eventually.

The actor had sustained minor injuries and was admitted to a hospital. The accident happened near a food-mall when Arora was returning to Mumbai from Pune. A bus and two cars collided and one of them hit Arora's SUV in which she was travelling with her driver and bodyguard.

Recalling the accident, the actor said everything happened in a flash and she was in shock after that. “My head was hurting, and all I wanted to know was whether I was alive or not. There was too much blood, too much commotion to understand what was happening," she said, reports Mid-Day.

Everything was a blur till she reached the hospital, the actor said.
