All you need to know about 'Bigg Boss OTT': List of contestants, where to watch

Bigg Boss, one of the most popular reality shows on television, is back again. The format, however, is different—modelled exclusively for an OTT platform, the new show is titled Bigg Boss OTT. The show which premiered on Voot on Sunday, is being hosted by Karan Johar.

The theme for the first season of this format is 'Stay Connected', and brings in many features that gives the audience to immerse themselves in the way the game moves forward. According to reports, viewers will get a chance to decide tasks, punishments and eliminations of contestants. Apart from an hour-long episode, for the first time, the audience will have 24×7 live access to the housemates. In a brief promo clip that was released earlier, Johar introduced the house where contestants will be spending their time.

The new episodes will be available on Voot Select from 7 pm (Monday-Saturday). Every Sunday, Johar will host a special one-hour episode. The show will be available only to Voot Select subscribers.

After the completion of the digital exclusive, the show will move to Colors TV with the launch of Season 15 of Bigg Boss.

There are 13 contestants on this edition of the show—Neha Bhasin, Zesshan Khan, Raqesh Bapat, Divya Agarwal, Akshara Singh, Ridhima Pandit, Karan Nath, Pratik Sehajpal, Urfi Javed, Milind Gaba, Nishant Bhat, Muskaan Jattana and Shamita Shetty.

Shilpa Shetty's sister Shamita Shetty, who entered the house amid Raj Kundra's arrest, said that she is here to carry on with her wok. Shamita also said that she had committed to the show long back.

In a statement, Johar shared that he is looking forward to the drama, emotions and entertainment that Bigg Boss OTT has to offer. He added, “Being a fan of the show, I’m excited about the new elements we’ve introduced to Bigg Boss OTT. I’m eagerly waiting to see the viewers’ participation in the show that takes over-the-top to an altogether new level. Not to forget, I’m also eagerly looking forward to seeing what kind of punishment the audiences will give to the contestants."
