'Miss me guys': Swara Bhasker bids farewell to 'all trolls, bhakts' moving to Koo

Actress Swara Bhasker is no stranger to internet trolls. She is one of those celebs who has almost always been at the receiving end of online hatred. So much so that her Twitter bio mentions she has given employment 'for years to come to countless trolls & other vermin'.

With the homegrown social media app 'Koo' trending, Swara took to Twitter on Thursday to bid farewell to trolls who will be shifting to the new platform. Swara tweeted: “My loving farewell to all the trolls, Bhakt -mandali and nafrati chintus flocking to #Koo #kooapp Miss me guys (sic).”

With the Centre and Twitter at loggerheads over blocking of certain accounts, several ministers and prominent figures had announced they are leaving Twitter to move onto the Koo app. This has triggered a trend, with many flocking to the desi app in recent days.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, whose Twitter account was recently briefly suspended and tweets deleted for violation of policies, also hinted at her plan to quit Twitter and move to Koo. “Your time is up @Twitter time to shift to #kooapp will inform everyone soon about my account details there. Absolutely thrilled to experience home grown #kooapp,” she had tweeted.
