Vijay's Master is all set for a grand release on Friday. However, just two days before the much-awaited release, scenes from the film were allegedly leaked online.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj and fans took to social media to urge people to not share the clips. “Dear all, it's been a 1.5-year-long struggle to bring Master to you. All we have is hope that you'll enjoy it in theatres. If you come across leaked clips from the movie, please don't share it. Thank you all. Love you all. One more day and #Master is all yours,” Kanagaraj said.

Master also features Vijay Sethupathi and Malavika Mohanan. It was scheduled to release in 2020, but got postponed due to the pandemic-induced lockdown and shutting down of theatres.
Fans also actively took to social media to tell followers not the share the clips, as it was important to support the film industry. With Master being the first theatrical release after a lockdown, the Tamil industry is banking on the film.
