Actor Varun Dhawan, who recently tested positive for COVID-19, took to Instagram to share a post about returning to work amid the pandemic.
He shared a collage of his friends and captioned it ‘Vitamin Friends’. Varun was shooting for Jug Jugg Jeeyo, when he tested positive along with actress Neetu Kapoor.
He wrote: "So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted covid-19. All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19." The actor asked his fans to be "extra careful”. He added: "So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time. Thank you."
The film’s shoot has been halted. Anil Kapoor, who was also shooting for the film, has tested negative for COVID-19.
