Warner Bros and DC Comics gave fans a treat on Saturday at the first-ever FanDome event when they released the trailers of upcoming superhero movies including Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to the 2017 film starring Gal Gadot, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League also referred to as ‘Snyder Cut’.

In addition to the trailers of these highly anticipated movies, DC also released a teaser for The Batman starring Robert Pattinson, who will be donning the role of the Caped Crusader for the first time. The movie, directed by Matt Reeves, seems the darkest of all the Batman movies so far. Zoe Kravitz will be seen as Catwoman with Paul Dano as the Riddler.

Gal Gadot soars back in Wonder Woman 1984 as the Amazonian superhero to take on Kirsten Wiig’s ‘Cheetah’ in the sequel to Wonder Woman (2017). Chris Pine is also back as Steve Trevor and we see Game of Thrones and Narcos actor Pedro Pascal join the DC Universe as Maxwell Lord. The movie, directed by Patty Jenkins, will be out later this year.

‘Snyder Cut’ or Zack Snyder’s Justice League is the director’s cut of the 2017 film and the teaser trailer showed scenes from the original version and new scenes with the song ‘Hallelujah’ playing in the backdrop. It is expected to hit HBO Max next year.

Fans can also expect the video game ‘Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’ to be launched in 2022 as Rocksteady Studios released a trailer revealing the new game. The game with the motley crew of supervillains is a continuation of the Arkham universe and will be out in 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.
