‘My gratitude has no bounds’: Amitabh Bachchan thanks well-wishers from hospital

Amitabh Bachchan, who is being treated for COVID-19 at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital, expressed his gratitude to his fans and well-wishers. In a tweet on Thursday night, he said that his ‘gratitude has no bounds’. 

He tweeted: “I receive all your blessings and love and prayers for our well being .. on sms, on whatsapp, on insta on Blog .. and all possible social media .. my gratitude has no bounds .. Hospital protocol is restrictive, i cannot say more .. Love.”

Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan were hospitalised after they tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday.

Amitabh Bachchan has been sharing updates on social media regularly after he has been hospitalised.

On Thursday, he tweeted about 6 kinds of people that we should stay away from. He wrote:  "They that express jealousy, they who ever dislike all others, who remain dissatisfied, angered, ever doubting... those who live off others... these 6 kinds of individuals shall remain filled with sadness... whenever possible, save ourselves from such trendsetters."

Taking to his blog on Sunday, Amitabh thanked his admirers for their prayers and concern for him and his family members.

"My dearest extended family, your concern, your prayers and your wishes for Abhishek, Aishwarya, Aaradhya and me for a speedy recovery has filled me with unending gratitude. I thank you all," the screen icon wrote.

Hospital sources had said that both Amitabh, Abhishek are clinically stable, and that they do not require aggressive treatment.
