Actress Priyanka Chopra who is celebrating 20 years of her acting career, took to social media to share a video of her journey from being ‘’an outsider with no connections in Bollywood’ to a ‘global star’.

Sharing the video which shows clips from her movies, TV shows, interviews, her Miss World days, and also her wedding to singer Nick Jonas, she wrote: “Thank you @ozzyproduction and all of you for such a beautiful reminder of these 20 years since I started in this business. I want to celebrate with all of you... stay tuned.”

The video lists out her achievements—‘first Indian actress to cross over to US stardom’, first south Asian actress to win People’s Choice Award, National Award winner—and many more, and also shows her on the covers of magazines like Vogue. In a clip that shows her accepting the Best Actress Filmfare Award for Fashion, she says in her speech: “I think this is the first time my dad won’t mind that I am bringing home a girl tonight.”
