Even as the fans of Chiyaan Vikram eagerly awaiting the release of his action thrillers Dhruva Natchathiram and Kadaram Kondan, the actor has began shooting for his next mega project.
Titled Mahavir Karna, the movie is a bilingual directed by R. S. Vimal of Ennu Ninte Moideen fame. According to an Indiaglitz report, the shooting of the film has begun on Friday at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.

The movie is reportedly being made at a whopping Rs 300 crore budget.
Of late, Vikram has been going through a lean patch of as his recent release Saamy Square and Sketch mostly received poor reviews. Expectations are high on Dhruva Natchathiram as it is written and directed by none other than Gautham Menon.
Kadaram Kondaan too is expected to be a winner as it is produced by Kamal Haasan and directed by Rajesh Selva who helmed Thoongaa Vanam with Haasan in the lead.
