However, the fans and others may have to wait a bit longer for the two to tie the knot. In a recent interview, Alia Bhatt scotched speculations that she will get married to boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in 2020. During a promotional event of the film Gully Boy in Mumbai, when she was asked about her marriage, Alia Bhatt said, “I think people should now take a break."
According to Pinkvilla, the actor further said Bollywood already had two beautiful weddings last year. "I think we can chill now, watch movies, work in movies, and rest can be seen later,” she was quoted as saying.
Ranbir Kapoor had, in 2018, confirmed that he is in a relationship with Alia Bhatt. He has reportedly added her to his family WhatsApp group which has his parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt is awaiting the release of Gully Boy in which she is paired opposite to Ranveer Singh. The movie is set for release on February 14. She is also working in Brahmastra, which also stars Ranbir Kapoor. Brahmastra is a multi-starrer with Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia in the lead along with Alia and Ranbir.
