Actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja has been active on social media, be it commenting on Twitter or posting adorable pictures on Instagram. The actress, however, announced she is taking a break from Twitter for a while.
Without divulging the details, she wrote: I’m going off twitter for a while. It’s just too negative. Peace and love to all !

Sonam Kapoor has regularly given it back to online trolls including a recent instance where a Twitter user said she was equally responsible for global warming, after she put up a post about traffic, bad roads and pollution. “It is because of people like you, who don't use public transport or less fuel consumption vehicles,” the user commented. Sonam hit back with a tweet: "And it's because of men like you that women find it difficult to use public transport for fear of being harassed."
Sonam Kapoor was also trolled for her fashion choice last month. After she shared a picture of herself dressed in an oversized coat, she was body-shamed on the social media platform Instagram.
Sonam Kapoor is currently working in Abhishek Sharma's The Zoya Factor, co-starring Dulquer Salmaan. She will also be seen sharing screen space with dad Anil Kapoor in her forthcoming film Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga.
