Was Tiger Shroff's Mumbai  apartment sale actually profitable?

However, a closer look shows that the property deal significantly underperformed compared to the average real estate market estate market growth in Mumbai. Though the sale gave an absolute return of 18.7 per cent profit, over eight years from 2018 to 2026, the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) is just 2.12 per cent. Another thing to consider is the consumer inflation in India, which is reportedly recorded at an average of 5-6 per cent CAGR over annually. Even a fixed deposit in a nationalised bank would have given 5.5 per cent to 7 per cent CAGR during the eight-year period. Other factors like stamp duty and registration fees also significantly increase the loss over the period.

The property sale came days after three people opened fired at Tiger's car in Juhu on October 18. The actor escaped unhurt, while his driver and another person were injured. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the attack and police have arrested 11 people in connection with the case.
