The Telangana government has begun an expansive outreach exercise for the Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi among the top invitees. Addressing the media, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said he would personally meet PM Modi, Rahul and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge to extend formal invitations.

The government plans to use the event to showcase its ambitious project – Bharat Future City to the national and global investors and dignitaries. The Future City is spanned across 30,000 acres and is declared to be a net-zero city that would compete with first-world cities.
Union ministers, chief ministers of all states, leading industrialists, economists, diplomats, sportspersons, media personalities and experts from multiple sectors are being placed on the priority list. State ministers and senior officials have been assigned to reach out to prominent figures across various domains to ensure large-scale participation.
To streamline the process, the government has constituted a dedicated Invitation Committee, headed by special chief secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh, to coordinate invitations, track confirmations and supervise guest logistics. The committee will also oversee arrangements for the arrival of guests, hospitality and other supporting facilities required for the smooth conduct of the summit. The CM will monitor invitation progress through a real-time dashboard, underscoring the administration’s intent to maintain tight oversight on preparations.
According to Jayesh Ranjan, special chief secretary on investment and industries, the state has already extended invitations to 4,500 representatives from different sectors. Of them, 1,000 invitees have confirmed their participation, marking a strong initial response to the government’s outreach efforts. With an eclectic mix of political leaders, global experts and industry heavyweights expected, the Telangana Rising Global Summit is being positioned as a landmark event that could highlight Hyderabad’s role as a major investment destination.
