Pratap Pawar, the chairman of the Sakal Media Private Ltd. which publishes Marathi daily newspaper SAKAL, was unanimously elected chairman of Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) for 2022-2023.
Pawar was the former president of The Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Agriculture, Pune. He is on the Board of several national and International organisations.
Pawar was awarded Padma Shri in 2014.
Meanwhile, Srinivasan K Swamy, chairman and managing director of R K Swamy Pvt Ltd, was unanimously elected deputy chairman.
