Dr KC Samuel assumes charge as International President of Y’s Men International, in Denmark

Dr K C Samuel, a well-known philanthropist and Chairman of Hindustan Aviation Academy at Bengaluru has assumed charge as the International President of Y’s Men International at a glittering ceremony held at Aarhus, Denmark on July 05, 2022. Dr Samuel was installed as the International President for the Centenary year by Hendry Grindheim, Past International President, Y’s Men International.

“It is an honour and a privilege to be installed as the International President of Y’s Men International in its Centenary year”said Dr Samuel after assuming charge. He added that the name “Y’s Men”has become synonymous with selfless service and sacrificial giving, and has touched and lifted the lives of thousands of people across the world for over a century by acknowledging it as our duty.

Dr Samuel, a former President of India Area and a member of the International Council, has been with the Y’s Men movement for more than 40 years. He held almost all leadership positions in the movement and was bestowed with several awards for his meritorious performance including the Elmer Crowe Award and the coveted International President’s award for the best Area President in the year 2018-19. He is currently a member of Y’s Men Club of Bangalore.

Y’s Men International (YMI), founded in 1922 in Ohio USA, is a family movement spread across more than 70 countries including India, Korea, Europe and USA, with more than 1700 clubs. It’s an International movement with core focus on community services. YMI has been spending millions of dollars every year to support the poor and the needy, spread across the globe. YMI is one of the partners of the Global Campaign for Malaria eradication and an accredited NGO with consultative status in the United Nation’s Economic and Social Council. YMI is entering into the next century with greater focus on fellowship amongst its members and impact in the areas of Health, Education and Environment
