Setting precedence, Borosil and Borosil Renewables have announced COVID relief for its employees and their families. Borosil Managing Director Shreevar Kheruka has informed that in the event of an employee losing life due to COVID-19, his or her family will continue to receive the salary for the next two years.

In a LinkedIn post, Kheruka said the company will also “take care of the education of the children till their graduation in India”. Family members will also be eligible to receive other additional benefits the employee is entitled to.
"The above is no comparison to the scale of the loss, but hopefully will allow the family enough time to process the bereavement and reorient," the heart-warming post reads. Kheruka informed that Borosil has lost four employees to the pandemic that is sweeping through the country.
