Flipkart Big Billion Days vs Amazon Great Indian Festival: What's on offer

Flipkart and Amazon have announced their festive sale offers with the Big Billion Days and the Great Indian Festival respectively. The e-commerce giants are going head-to-head with their biggest festive sale on October 10 from midnight.

Amazon Prime members, however, will have an early 12-hour access to deals and discounts starting at 12 noon today. Flipkart Plus users will also get early access, but from 9pm on Tuesday.

Deals on Flipkart Big Billion Days:

Walmart-backed Flipkart is offering an array of items on discount, from smartphones to TVs and other home appliances. This is the first time Flipkart is offering early access to deals in the Big Billion Days sale through its Flipkart Plus users, much like Amazon Prime.

From what has been revealed by Flipkart so far, the Big Billion Days sale discount is available on Xiaomi's Mi smart TVs. Samsung and Micromax are also in the forefront with great deals on TVs and gadgets.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is priced at Rs 14,999, will be available at Rs. 12,999.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is another smartphone that has everyone buzzing and it will be available at Rs 14,999. The Vivo V9 Youth will be down from Rs 19,990 to Rs 13,990 offering users a discount up to Rs 6,000.

Deals on Amazon Great Indian Festivals:

For gadget lovers, Amazon is offering massive discounts on smartphones, Kindles, speakers and the Fire TV stick. The offers are available with a no-cost EMI option, exchange offers and cashbacks with the intention to give customers a great shopping experience.

The 6GB RAM+64GB variant of the OnePlus 6, with a starting price of Rs 34,999, will be available at Rs 29,999. The 8GB RAM+128 GB variant is available at Rs 34,999, and the 8GB RAM+256GB at Rs 38,999.

Similarly, deals on the Apple iPhone X is sure to get customers excited as the 64GB variant of the smartphone, released last year, is available at Rs 69,999.

Samsung smartphones, too, aren't far behind as massive deals are on offer on several smartphones. The Galaxy Note 8, which is priced at 74,690, will be available for Rs 43,990. Galaxy S9 will be down from Rs 62,500 to Rs 42,990. The A8+ is available at Rs 23,990.

Apart from smartphones, the Great Indian Festival is offering similar offers on home appliances with extended warranty and up to 50 per cent off.
