Chandigarh, May 18 (PTI) In a major reshuffle, the Haryana government has issued transfer and posting orders of 17 IPS and three HPS officers, including the police commissioner of Gurugram.
The Haryana government has appointed senior IPS officer Sibash Kabiraj as the new police commissioner of Gurugram, replacing Vikas Arora.
Arora, who was serving as Gurugram police commissioner since July 2024, has been posted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Administration, Panchkula.
A 1999-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Kabiraj was earlier posted as police commissioner of Panchkula and was holding additional charge of Cyber and State Crime Record.
The transfer orders were issued by the Haryana government's home department on Sunday night.
M Ravi Kiran, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Karnal Range, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, relieving Charu Bali of the charge.
Bali, who also held the charge as ADGP, Recruit Training Centre (RTC), Bhondsi, Gurugram, will now hold the charge as ADGP, Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurugram.
K K Rao, ADGP Hisar Range, has been transferred as ADGP, RTC, Bhondsi.
Rakesh Kumar Arya, Inspector General of Police, State Crime Branch, Panchkula, has been transferred as IGP, Crime Branch (headquarters), relieving Sanjay Kumar of the charge.
Ashok Kumar, IGP, CID (headquarters), Panchkula, has been transferred as IGP, Karnal Range, replacing M Ravi Kiran.
S S Bhoria, SP, Law and Order, police headquarters, Panchkula, will now be SP, STF, Panchkula and SP, Commando, Newal in Karnal.
Among the Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers who have been transferred are Siddharth Dhanda, SP, Telecom, Panchkula, who will now be SP, State Crime Branch (headquarters).
