Three held for stabbing man to death in Delhi's Rohini

New Delhi, Jun 29 (PTI) Three persons have been arrested in connection with the fatal attack on a 25-year-old man in Delhi's Rohini, police said on Sunday. The victim's relative also sustained injuries in the attack.
     According to the police, the incident took place in the Aman Vihar area on June 26, when the victim, Deepak, was returning home from the market with his wife and brother-in-law, Parveen.
    Both Deepak and Parveen were suddenly attacked by three men with a knife and sustained multiple injuries. They were rushed to a hospital, where Deepak was declared brought dead, said a police officer. Parveen is still undergoing treatment.
     An FIR was registered at Aman Vihar Police Station. Multiple teams were formed to probe the case.
     Subsequently, three accused, Ajay (25), his brother Amit (27) and their associate Rohit (24), all from Mangolpuri, were apprehended.
    During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in the attack, police said.
     The knife and the vehicle used during the attack have also been recovered, said the police officer.
     Meanwhile, the wife of the victim told police that the accused killed Deepak due to an old enmity.
     Further investigation is underway.
