Jagan launches five-week drive to ‘expose’ NDA govt’s ‘failures’ in Andhra

Amaravati, June 25 (PTI) YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday launched a five-week campaign titled "Recalling Chandrababu’s Manifesto" to 'expose' the NDA coalition government's poll promises and alleged governance failures.

The campaign began with the release of a Quick Response (QR) code, which provides access to the 2024 TDP manifesto and details of the monetary benefits promised to each household by the TDP-led NDA government.
“The aim is to show how much damage Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has caused to each family during his one year in office,” Reddy claimed in a press release.
The former CM explained that the campaign would be carried out in five phases, from the district to the village level, comparing the coalition’s promises with its actual performance.
He accused the TDP-led coalition government of "misleading the public and suppressing criticism", alleging that those who raise questions are "insulted instead of receiving rightful answers."
Reddy recalled the TDP’s election bond, which stated, “I, Chandrababu Naidu, solemnly pledge to uphold the trust placed in me by the people of our state,” and was signed by both Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
They jointly pledged to provide benefits under various welfare schemes to the people of the state, which, Reddy claimed, largely remain unfulfilled.
Reddy instructed party cadres to fight the NDA coalition government's “draconian” rule and stay connected with the people, countering the alleged false narratives with facts from the ruling coalition's manifesto.
He emphasised the need to intensify grassroots outreach, regain public trust, and "expose the coalition’s failures" through consistent contact and communication efforts.
