Conspiracy being hatched to oust Rajasthan CM alleges Gehlot

Jodhpur, Jun 25 (PTI) Congress leader Ashok Gehlot on Wednesday claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched to oust Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and said the BJP leader will suffer if he is not cautious.
"A conspiracy is being hatched to dislodge Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. His party people, both in Rajasthan and in Delhi, have got to the task but he is acting ignorant even though we are saying this over and over again," said the former Rajasthan chief minister while talking to reporters at the Circuit House during his visit to Jodhpur.
He claimed that Sharma would suffer if he remained under any "illusion". The situation in the state is grave, he alleged, commenting on the performance of the Sharma government.
"The situation in Rajasthan is grave and people are suffering. They (the BJP government in the state) will know what the public wants if they begin public hearing," he said.
The Congress leader said flatterers have laid siege around the chief minister and are constantly appreciating him by terming his government great. However, they are actually under an illusion and are misleading him, he said.
Gehlot condemned the BJP saying it was repeatedly raising the Emergency issue against the Congress.
"But the Congress won with a thumping majority under the wave of Indira Gandhi (in 1980)," said Gehlot, adding that the BJP wants to take advantage of the Emergency but will not succeed.
