     * SC said people were betting and gambling in the garb of Indian Premier League and sought the Centre's response on a PIL seeking to regulate betting applications.

     * SC grilled the Rajasthan government over the surge in student suicides in the city of Kota calling the situation "serious".
    
     * Terming the plea as a "publicity interest litigation", SC junked a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking action against senior Maharashtra officials for alleged breach of protocol during the first visit of Chief Justice of India B R Gavai to Mumbai earlier this month.

     * SC allowed the Delhi government to withdraw seven cases filed by the erstwhile AAP government against the Centre and Lieutenant Governor over issues including the control over services in the capital.

     * SC set aside a high court order and acquitted 11 men sentenced to life imprisonment, saying their guilt was not proved beyond a reasonable doubt.

     * SC dismissed an appeal filed by Rajasthan's power distribution companies against a judgement of the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) that had ruled in favour of the Adani Power Rajasthan Ltd (APRL).
