New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) A man was shot at allegedly by motorcycle-borne assailants near Delhi's Chhatarpur metro station in south Delhi's Mehrauli area on Thursday afternoon over old enmity, police said.
They said the victim, Arun Lohia, was travelling in his SUV when the incident took place around 1 pm near CDR Chowk.
"It seems to be a case of old enmity. The accused and the victim are residents of the same village and are known to each other. There is a case history between the two parties," a senior police officer said.
The condition of Lohia is stated to be critical. A case is being registered in the matter, he said.
After the attack, the entire area was cordoned off and multiple police teams rushed to the spot. CCTV footage is being scanned to identify the attackers, the officer said.
Police sources said that at least 10 rounds were fired at Lohia and he was rushed to a nearby hospital by police.
