Warm morning in city

    New Delhi, Apr 24 (PTI) Delhiites woke up to a warm morning on Wednesday, with the minimum temperature settling at 27.1 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
     Humidity was recorded at 56 per cent.
     The weatherman has forecast mainly clear skies with the possibility of them turning partly cloudy towards the afternoon. The maximum temperature is likely to settle around 40 degrees Celsius.
     The national capital reeled under scorching heat on Tuesday, with the mercury crossing the 40 degree-mark for the first time this season.
    The Safdarjung observatory, the recording of which is considered the official figure for the city, registered a maximum temperature of 40.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 22.2 degrees Celsius. PTI SLB SLB DV
