Mumbai, Apr 21 (PTI) Electric mobility brand Youdha on Tuesday said it looks to set up over 200 outlets across the country within a year to strengthen its footprint in the fast-growing three-wheeler auto passenger EV market.
As part of its retail expansion strategy, the company will roll out dealerships in a phased manner, beginning with North and East India, including key markets such as Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Assam, before expanding into Western and Southern regions, it said.
Each outlet will provide end-to-end support, including sales, service, financing, and after-sales assistance, it added.
The brand recently entered the three-wheeler auto passenger (L5) EV segment with the launch of its flagship model, EPOD, to cater to urban commuters, fleet operators, and self-employed drivers.
The company said the expansion comes at a time when demand for electric last-mile mobility solutions is accelerating across both metro cities and Tier-2/3 markets. With this move, Youdha is positioning itself to build one of the largest dedicated retail and service networks in the passenger electric three-wheeler category.
"Expanding to 200 outlets is not just about scale, ”it is about ensuring that customers have reliable access to products, service, and support wherever they are. As demand grows, building a strong on-ground ecosystem becomes critical," said Ayush Lohia, CEO, Youdha.
Industry trends indicate that India's electric three-wheeler market is among the fastest-growing EV segments, driven by favourable government policies, rising fuel costs, and increasing awareness around sustainable mobility, the company said.
The company said it is also ramping up production capabilities at its manufacturing facility to meet increasing demand, while continuing to invest in product development, innovation, and localisation, and added that Youdha aims to strengthen its position in both B2B fleet operations and individual ownership segments.
Beyond retail expansion, the company is working towards building a comprehensive EV ecosystem, including partnerships for financing, service infrastructure, and customer support, ensuring a seamless ownership experience.
