New Delhi, 29th January 2026: ResearchAyu and All India Institute of Ayurveda, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, New Delhi, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on research and development of treatments and medicines for serious and currently difficult-to-treat diseases. The MoU establishes a structured framework for joint research programs, clinical validation, evidence generation, and development of standardized treatment protocols and medicines. In the initial phase, the collaboration will focus on three priority research themes: osteoarthritis, autoimmune diseases, and diabetes.



This collaboration is a strong boost to ResearchAyu’s mission of building medicines and treatment solutions for currently incurable diseases—and ensuring that validated, research-backed treatments reach the masses. By combining ResearchAyu’s clinical

experience and research-led approach with the institutional research ecosystem of All India Institute of Ayurveda, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, New Delhi, the partnership aims to strengthen scientific evidence and accelerate development of scalable, credible treatment pathways that can benefit patients across India.

Dipak Patil, founder of ResearchAyu, said: “This MoU is an important step toward building stronger evidence and more reliable treatment pathways for patients suffering from diseases that remain difficult to treat. We are beginning with osteoarthritis, autoimmune diseases, and diabetes to create meaningful, validated outcomes—and to help ensure these treatments reach people at scale.”

Prajapati, Director All India Institute of Ayurveda, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India, New Delhi, said: “This collaboration will support systematic research and clinical validation with the shared goal of improving patient outcomes through evidence-based Ayurvedic interventions.”
