Mumbai, Apr (PTI) In one of the largest commercial drone logistics deals, TECHEAGLE has secured an order for 100 delivery drones from Sitics Logistics for operations across e-commerce, intercity B2B, and direct-to-consumer deliveries, a release said on Monday.
The initial rollout of these autonomous in-house developed BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) delivery drones will begin in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai-Pune, and Bengaluru, with plans to scale to over 10 cities in the coming months, the release said.
With this deployment, the two companies are working to build a hybrid logistics network that combines aerial and ground-based systems to deliver increased efficiency and environmental sustainability, it said.
The collaboration is designed to address inefficiencies in traditional last-mile and mid-mile logistics, the company said.

The deal is among the largest commercial drone logistics agreements globally and underscores a shared vision to build a faster, more sustainable and tech-enabled delivery ecosystem across the country, the company said.
A strong player in the drone logistics segment, TECHEAGLE has successfully deployed its systems in some of the country's most challenging geographies, including projects with AIIMS, India Post, and state governments across the North East and Himalayan regions, according to the company.
